Oxfordshire Sport and Physical Activity

Richard manages sport opportunities for Children and Young People around Oxfordshire through leadership on the School and College Games and the management of Oxfordshires Sportivate projects to encourage participation in young people. Richard works between Primary Schools, Further Education establishments and Oxfordshire Sport and Physical Activity to link schools with Satellite Clubs and local sport opportunities around the county. He leads on the Primary Premium support package from Sport England. Richard is South Oxfordshire/Vale of White Horse District Councils relationship link as well as the education sector below FE and HE sectors.

Sports Club Child Welfare Officers

Sports clubs and organisations should have a designated Child Welfare or Safeguarding Officer. If you or your child is taking part in activities run by a local club or organisation, this officer should be your first point of contact should you have any concerns.
