New Chief Executive

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Brivio as the new Chief Executive of Oxfordshire Sport & Physical Activity.

Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. A former programme Director at Sport England, Paul led the roll out of Sports Action Zones, the Schools Sports Coordinator programme, and the Positive Futures initiative, before moving to Bromley MyTime where he served as Operations/Commercial Director. Paul has more recently overseen the development of the Quest Active Communities quality assurance programme, and the development of the new Primary Role Performance Management Framework for the County Sports Partnerships.

Paul is also a qualified personal/executive coach and mentor, and has worked with a wide range of clients including Leisure Trusts, County Sports Partnerships and Local Authorities

"We are delighted that Paul joins the team to lead us through the next stage of our development. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we shift our focus towards tackling inactivity and addressing the inequalities of opportunity in the County."

Keith Johnston – Chair of OxSPA

" I have always been a keen sportsperson and team player but as Type 1 diabetic I know the value and benefit of an active lifestyle. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to work in Oxfordshire with our partners to help make a difference "
