British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards (BEDSAs) 2018

British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards (BEDSAs) 2018

The BEDSAs are designed to recognise and celebrate the contributions made by black, Asian and minority ethnic communities. The awards are organised by Sporting Equals and aim to celebrate ethnic diversity in both elite and grassroots sport, including honouring community groups and coaches working in sport and physical activity.

The fourth edition of the Awards takes place this year in London on Saturday 24 March.

Shortlisted for the England Athletics Coach of the Year is athletics coach Christian Malcolm, weightlifting coach Gian Singh Cheema and high-jump coach Fayyaz 'Fuzz' Cann (Ahmed). Read about their biographies and achievements courtesy of the BEDSAs

The BEDSAs encourage members of the public to vote for their preferred winner until the 12 March when voting closes. Perhaps post a social message like the one below to ask your followers to support the BEDSAs by voting for coach of the year.
